[Bleach] Chapter 490 Thoughts

May 2, 2012

“Special war potentials.”

Wow, the enemy really knows their stuff.  They made Ichigo as one of the ’5 Special War Potentials’ that they are focused on.  Ichigo, just by himself, is a potential.  Truly, they know his own potential and are watching him.  Seeing the enemy group in the chapter cover…I’ll admit they looked cool, but that’s it.  The creator really knows his stuff when such a gathering of people walked liked that.  He’s good at that kind of thing.

Hmm, so “Uryuu Ishida” is more powerful than the captain that Ichigo is fighting against?  Does that mean that Ishida has been holding back?  Or is it that Ishida doesn’t realize his own power?  Hmm, more questions…and not enough answers for my satisfaction.  Damn creator.

And that ‘Holy Form’…sucks.  Gives “angels” a bad name.  Damn enemy.

Wow.  A huge foot stepped on the Shinigami troop.  Huge.  Shows that the enemy is something to face against.  Worthwhile, you might say.

Anyway, I really wasn’t connected to this chapter.  All that I can say is that I hope the next chapter will be better than this one.  A tad or a smidgeon, it doesn’t matter.  I want to be more invested in the next chapter than I was in this chapter.  That’s all.

[Naruto] Chapter 584 Thoughts

May 2, 2012

Root.

ROOT.

Root.

ROOT.

Damn that organization.

Damn Danzou.

I really am glad that Danzou is dead.  I’m not sure if Hiruzen has disbanded it or not at that time or if he still has some hand in that organization; if he is still in touch with Root, then I disapprove and am sad of that.  If not, then I’m glad that Hiruzen is far away from that organization.  I get that there are some “bad” missions that probably has to be done, but Danzou’s actions…yeah, I don’t approve of it.  So learning about this deadly and tragic mission that Kabuto and Nonou participated in makes me glad that Danzou is dead.  Pitting the two against each other…despicable.

I also don’t agree on Orochimaru’s actions.  But Kabuto wants to follow him, so I’ll just let it go and ignore it.  It really doesn’t change what I think about Kabuto anyway.  I will respect Orochimaru’s decision of naming Kabuto as the child of Nonou Yakushi.  I feel for that relationship, even though I still don’t like Kabuto.

Anyway, what I expect from the next chapter would be the return of the battle between the Uchiha brothers and Kabuto.  I’m tired of Kabuto’s past.  The ‘gentle’ moments from his past is over, and seeing this chapter shows that his path has led towards the direction that it is now at.  Other than that, I think that’s what all the chapter will be for next time.

[Noblesse] Chapter 234 Thoughts

May 2, 2012

At first, I was confused, but then I realized that it was a flashback of Frankenstein and Roctis.  Hmm, didn’t expect Roctis to look like that.  I wonder why Roctis betrayed Raizel and the others…?

Tao and Takeo awaken to see a weird scene.  Inside of me, I’m laughing at their expressions, particularly Tao’s confused one.  M-21 and Regis sighing because of Tao and Takeo…yeah, I can definitely see the partnership.  M-21 and Regis really are good ‘together’ while Tao and Takeo are good ‘together’.  And no, not that kind of ‘partnership’, you perverts.

That stupid 12th Union Elder is boasting and all.  I think he’s addicted to his power.  I think that he feels ‘invisible’ and nothing can touch him.  If he had survived, I wonder if he would have realized that his ‘power’ is not truly that powerful at all.  He’s boasting about killing humans, and that angered Raizel.  Stupid 12th Union Elder.  He deserves that outcome.

You know, I’m getting used to the new art style.  I still liked the old style better for some characters, but now I’m getting used to it.  And I’m getting to like how the new style makes some characters look good.  For some of them, the old and new art style are both good on them.  Great job, creators!

Anyway, poor Raizel.  I wonder if that action will direly affect his health?  Frankenstein is already worried so he would be more deeply worried now due to Raizel’s action.  I’m hoping for the best for him.

Lastly, I think that the next chapter will focus on Raizel and company as well as the Union.  I think that there will be a Union Elders meeting, and hopefully there will be a glimpse of the traitors who had bonded with the Union Elders.  I also think that KSA will make some cameos, given that the agency will have to recuperate from the attack on them.  I’m not sure if the enhanced couple will work with Raizel and company, though I think they should, given that they had become partners, in a way.  And to round that chapter, there should be humor.  ‘Nough said.

[Bleach] Chapter 489 Thoughts

April 25, 2012

Now I’m sorta caught up with the series.  I’ll probably make an update before the week ends due to the new chapters coming out this week.  But now, all about the chapter:

What Kira mentioned about the missing people is interesting.  I knew that Mayuri’s information should be questioned.  I mean, that revelation makes me question Mayuri’s integrity and intent.  Why did Mayuri not continue investigating the case of the missing people?  What is Mayuri trying to do by not continuing the investigation?  What is his intent?  Questions yet not enough answers.

Now I’m confused.  Are the enemies really Quincies?  Just because Captain Kirge said that he is, I’m not truly sure about that.  I think that the enemies are going to make every organization fight against each other.  The leader probably doesn’t want to fight Ichigo yet, so having Ichigo be occupied by Captain Kirge
proves that the leader recognized Ichigo’s potential, as well as wanting to prove a point.  That point is to make a move against Soul Society.  I’m not sure what kind of move it will be, but I hope, for Soul Society’s sake, that the enemies won’t get it.  That would make the leader be too powerful, at least in my eyes.

Oih?!  I’m trying for a French word there, but since I don’t know French, I failed.  Anyway, surprising that Mayuri confessed to the disappearance of the missing people, but his reason…well, I don’t approve of it, but I guess he feels validated for doing it.  Seeing that the leader is known to Yamamoto and Mayuri knows about it, shows that there is a reason behind the war.  Did Yamamoto not killing the leader years ago truly brought this war to Soul Society?  I’m pretty sure that the leader is a Quincy and that man taught his underlings, though I’m not sure if that man is distinctly or primarily related to Ishida.  Hmm, there’s definitely a story behind it all.

I hope that the next chapter will show more about the story behind the leader and why Yamamoto failed to kill that man.  I’m interested on knowing that.  Otherwise, I think that the next chapter will show Ichigo fighting Captain Kirge.  And that’s what I see for the next chapter.

[Bleach] Chapter 488 Thoughts

April 25, 2012

I decided to keep up with the other series from the same magazine before tackling this series.  Anyway, given that I posted an entry for another series, I decided to keep up with this one.

First of, I liked Nell’s expression when she said she’ll protect Ichigo’s back.  That’s a cute expression.  Ichigo’s expression when he heard Nell’s proclamation was also priceless to see.

Seeing that captain again (y’know, the captain and his troop who are responsible for capturing the Hollows/Arrancars) makes me want to wring his neck.  Seeing him kill his subordinate…well, I hope Ichigo and company can get there in time to fight the captain and his troops.

I’m not sure if the enemies are Quincies or not.  But that is what the focus of the Soul Society is pointing to.  I’m questioning Mayuri’s information/deduction.  I’m not sure if the Quincy family are responsible or not, so I’m not going to put a lot of fate behind that until the enemies proclaim that they are Quincy.  Otherwise, I’ll withheld my judgment on that.

I’m hoping that Yamomoto won’t make any rash decisions.  I’m sure that Sasakibe’s death affected him, so I hope that his decision won’t be too rash.  But at least Soul Society is preparing for war.  And seeing those captains return back to their positions…I guess that’s why there was that tear before, so that the ones rejected by Soul Society are back.  I think that Soul Society should have given them an apology for their ‘exile’ but that’s behind the scenes.  I just feel that they deserve some credit and all.

Lastly, I’m not truly surprised that the Tres Bestia were beaten by the captain.  Seeing that captain’s face…yeah, I can see that person is strong and that the Tres Bestia may not be able to defeat that person.  At least Ichigo arrived.

I’m not going to make any guesses about the next chapter since that is what I’ll be reading next.  The only thing I’ll say is that Ichigo will have his fight.  ‘Nough said.

[Noblesse] Chapter 233 Thoughts

April 25, 2012

The clan elders who had betrayed are all probably in the Union.  Therefore, Raizel and company now know the direction to look for the traitors. At least in that respect, they know that fact.

Anyway, it was boring to read about the fight. Yeah, the action wasn’t so bad, but there wasn’t a lot of explanation as to the questions that I have about the traitors and how the 12th Union Elder got his power and all.

The only good part for me was the ending, when the 12th Union Elder decided to take Raizel as hostage. What a foolish move that person made. I’m not sure if it would be Raizel or Frankenstein who’ll make a move, but I don’t think that 12th Union Elder will survive for long. At least, I think he’ll survive enough for some information to be taken about the Union, but otherwise, I see the outcome to be bad for that person.

I actually think that the next chapter will have the humor that is quintessential in this series. I also see the conclusion of the fight to occur in the next chapter. Otherwise, I’ll just leave it at that for what I think will happen in the next chapter.

[Naruto] Chapter 583 Thoughts

April 21, 2012

From the first moment I saw the long black hair, I knew that the one young Kabuto was healing would be Orochimaru.  When I read the next page, I was proven correctly.  I will say, Orochimaru looked kind in that panel.  Makes me feel like the man is approachable.

So, Kabuto’s ‘Mother’ used to be a part of Root.  And her name is Nonou.  From the two guards behind Danzo, I think one is an Aburame while the other looked like Orochimaru.  Hmm, Orochimaru working with Danzo…not really surprising, but having Danzo be at the top rather than Orochimaru…well, that’s a tad surprising.  Then again, this was with a young Orochimaru.  So…yeah.

Seeing Kabuto in this light…I really wish I didn’t.  I’m feeling sympathy pains here, but it hasn’t changed my stance.  The sympathy pains I wish would go away, but I guess this is what the creator wanted.  Have a sob story for each character so the reader can relate to them.  Damn back stories.  Well, I’m holding strong on my stance, so no biggie.

W-ell, I guess Kabuto was facing a crisis when he killed his ‘Mother’ during one of his spy missions.  The two men who arrived to see the dead ‘Nanagashi’ were familiar.  I forgot their name but they are definitely figures in the present time.  And the guy with the hand also looks familiar.  I’m not sure, but he could also be one of the guys featured in the war.  But I’m probably wrong about that.

Ah, I guess this was the time when Orochimaru left Konoha and also the time that Kabuto joined Orochimaru.  Of course it would be Orochimaru who will lure Kabuto to his side when the bespectacled one is hurting.  How typical of him.

I guess next chapter we’ll know more on how Orochimaru lured Kabuto to his side.  I’m pretty sure Kabuto’s flashback story will end within the next chapter.  Then a continuation on the battle between the Uchiha brothers and Kabuto.

Which reminds me to point out that life has intruded, and now I’m catching up to the series.  Just to let everyone know.

[Naruto] Chapter 582 Thoughts

April 21, 2012

Why?!

WHY?!

WHY MAKE ME FEEL SORRY FOR KABUTO?!

I don’t want to feel sympathy for him.  I DON’T!

Seriously, learning about Kabuto’s past is okay and all, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to change my mind about hating him.  I’ll understand him a little bit due to his flashback story, but that’s it.  I still won’t shift my position about him.

Anyway, I’m not going to go on and on about Kabuto’s past.  Even though the majority of the chapter is focused on that, I’ll focus on the rest of the chapter.

I didn’t really care about the whole dialogue about not learning about oneself.  It was just plain boring.  I guess it was critical for the whole Kabuto flashback and all, but that’s still boring.

I did like seeing Naruto, though.  I think, from the hairstyles of the people in the background, I can recognize a few of them.  Shikamaru is one of them.  So is Sakura and Hinata.  Those are the only ones that I can differentiate by hairstyles.

The next chapter, which I’ll comment about in the next post, will focus again on Kabuto’s past.  Otherwise, that’s all what I think about the chapter.

[D.Gray-man] Chapter 213 Thoughts

April 21, 2012

It has been some time since I had a post about this series.  I wish the creator will finish it soon.  To do that, I hope for more chapters.  But I digress.  This is about this chapter.  Not about future chapters.

Is it just me, or don’t Link and Kanda look more handsome in recent chapters?  I think the creator’s style sorta changed a bit, but I’m not complaining.  I love the style changes.  I loved the recent Allen, Kanda, and Link.  Even Johnny looks nice.  Also, sad to say, the director also looked good, though I still hate that guy.

I’m intrigued with the ending of this chapter.  What is Allen dreaming about?  Who are the twins?  Is it the 14th Noah and his brother?  Is it Allen?  Who are they?  And who is the woman singing that lullaby?

I can’t wait for the next chapter for the questions to be answered.

[Noblesse] Chapter 232 Thoughts

April 21, 2012

With this post, I’m all caught up with this series.  So on to what I thought about the chapter:

My, oh my.  The 12th Union Elder sure has a short temper.  Of a sort.  Frankenstein sure got under that guy’s skin.  He’s keeping up with Frankenstein, though I don’t think that both men are showing all of their strength right now.

Ah, Frankenstein.  You really are a great guy.  A great guy.  Harming the two Cerberus members.  Making Raizel sigh over his actions.  Having M-21 and Regis question his intent.  You are one memorable character.

The reaction of the human couple are priceless.  Priceless.  Seeing Frankenstein show his strength.  Seeing them question if he is a villain or not.  Seeing the 12th Union Elder turn into a monster.  Damn, but I think that they will become part of Raizel’s group.  I also think that Frankenstein will modify them to become better, just like the three enhanced bodyguards.  I’m not sure if they will stay at the KSA or not, but I think that they will, becoming their ears and eyes inside the Union/KSA.  At least, that is what I think will happen for the human couple.

So the clan leaders who became traitors are in the Union.  Each traitor has made a contract with humans, who became the Union Elders.  Except for Crombell.  I think that Crombell wants the power of the traitors to become his, as well as become the head honcho of the whole Union.  Then probably he would want to conquer the whole world, including the Nobles.  Again, that is what I think Crombell’s plan for the future will be.

In the next chapter, I think that the 12th Union Elder will be defeated by Frankenstein.  I also think that there might be a scene of the Union Elders discussing the actions of the 12th Union Elder, with Crombell leading the whole discussion.  Crombell will be internally ecstatic over the whole situation, and may get closer to his goal.  And probably, maybe in the next chapter or the one after that, Raizel and company will discuss the battle and what they had to do after learning these revelations about the traitors and the Union.  Who knows, but maybe the other Nobles will make cameos in the future.

And that is what I think about the chapter.
